Please ensure that you have booked in for your sessions, this is highly important, if you have not booked with Zoe, Nick or Sharon then we will not be expecting you and there may not be a space for you.

Trip to the Cinema - time to be arranged.

Please book in so we can call you with a choice of films and times. If you have a cinema or student card please bring this as it will make the cost of your ticket cheaper.

Cost £12.50 + the price of the ticket.

Holiday on the Coast

We have organised a holiday on the coast near Caister for July 6th to the 13th 2012.

There will be 14 places only, which will be on a first come with a deposit basis.

Included in the holiday price is the following:

7 nights in a luxury top of the range holiday home.
Passes to use the onsite swimming pool and some other activities including discos.
Full board.
Staffing.
Travel.
Insurance.

Onsite there are lots of activities that you can access, the site is on the coast and has a lovely beach.

Price: £475 per person

The Deposit of £75 is payable when you book, with further payments of £100 due on the 1^st of each month – February, March, April and May. Deposits are required as soon as possible.

Alternatively you can pay the full balance, all checks need to be payable to Bedford Mencap.

All payments are non - refundable unless there is a medical reason that you are unable to attend.

Ladies only holiday abroad!

We have organised a ladies only holiday to Fuerteventura, September 2012.

There will be very few places, which will be on a first come with a deposit basis. Deposits are required as soon as possible. You must be a woman to book on this holiday.

Included in holiday price is the following

7 nights in a private villa, with private swimming pool and private access straight on to the beach.
Flights and transfers.
Full board.
Staffing.
Insurance.

There are plenty of places to visit including a Water Park, Island Zoo, places to go Shopping etc.

The price is £695.00 per person.

The deposit is £95.00 payable when you book, with 6 further payments of £100 due on the 1^st of each month, November, January, February March, April, May and June.

All payments are non refundable unless there is a medical reason that you are unable to come.

New Years Holiday 2012 - 13

Friday 28th December 2012 returning Friday 4th January - for 1 week

The house we have booked is in Stratford upon Avon and has spaces for 13 people.

The house we are staying in has a hot tub and games room with TVs in every bedroom.

All of the beds are singles but you will be required to share a bedroom.

The cost of the holiday is £585 per person, this price will include, transport to and from BGC to Stratford, transport for excursions, full insurance, full board, staffing etc.
A deposit of £85 is required to secure your place, then 5 further payments of £100 due on the 1st of April, May, June, September and October, or full payment is accepted.
Cheques need to be made payable to Bedford Mencap.
All payments are non refundable unless there is a medical reason that you are unable to attend the holiday.

Important reminder about the Saturday club

Can I please remind all club members and their staff/parents to ensure that people are booked in for sessions, this is extremely important for any trips outside of Bedford, i.e. Bowling, pub lunches and day trips, this ensures that we have the correct amount of staff for the day and also to ensure that we have a space on the transport.

If you have not booked in then we will not have booked a space for you and therefore will not be expecting you.

If not booked in with a member of club staff, BGC can not be held responsible for persons who turn up unannounced and who could be potentially at risk if left unattended, which could occur if we have left the building for an outing. We would suggest if sending persons by taxi, that staff ask the taxi company to ensure that the individual enters the building and is received by staff before departing.

If you are booked in for a session can I please remind you to arrive on time and to call the club mobile if you are running late, again this is extremely important for outings such as bowling, if you are late and have not called to inform staff then we can only presume that you are not attending.

Bookings can only be taken by club staff, which for your reference are, Zoe, Nick and Sharon.
